Youth Under 8 and under 10 training commences this week. Training will take place from 7pm – 8pm on Monday nights.
Under 12 training also commences on Friday 23rd April from 6.30pm – 8pm
The under 14’s played Clonoe in round 6 of the league on Tuesday night in Ardboe. Ardboe played a very convincing first half putting 1 goal and 5 points on the score board. First half scores came from Jordan Bell, Nathan Bell, Aiden O’Neill and Caolin Mallaghan. Clonoe put up a good come back in the second half but Ardboe added another goal and 5 points to ensure a comfortable win. Second half scores for Ardboe came from DD Mulgrew, Caolin Mallaghan and Conal Devlin. Final Score Ardboe 2-10 Clonoe 1-06.
The U14’s have two league games this week. On Tuesday evening they play Coalisland in Coalisland. Throw in at 7pm. The second league game is an away game against Eglish on Saturday 24th April. Throw in at 12 noon. Under 14 Training resumes as normal.
The Minor Championship kicks of this week with a preliminary game against Brackaville on Wednesday night at 7pm in Brackaville.
The Senior and reserve league resumed on Sunday evening with a second round fixture against Killyclogher in Michael Coney Park.
The Reserves had a convincing win in the first game and dominated throughout . Half time score Ardboe 0-07 Killyclogher 0-03. In the second half Ardboe proved too strong for Killyclogher and added an impressive 2 goals and 9 points to the score board. Final Score Ardboe 2-16 Killyclogher 1-05.
In the Senior game Ardboe started the first half very strong, knocking over 5 unanswered points. First half scores for Ardboe came from Kyle Coney, Frank McGuigan, Tommy McGuigan and Mickey Coleman. Killyclogher however settled in after about 15 minutes and kicked 7 points to leave a half time score of Ardboe 0-05 Killyclogher 0-07. Ardboe had an impressive start to the second half despite being reduced to 14 players half, with Gavin Teague hitting the back of the net within the first 5 minutes. Excellent points followed from Kyle Coney, Shea McGuigan, Tommy McGuigan and Frank McGuigan (3 frees). 20 minutes into the second half Ardboe was awarded a penalty which Tommy McGuigan netted. Ardboe had a strong lead towards the end of the game however Killyclogher was awarded a penalty in the dying minutes which they scored to leave a full time score Ardboe 2-12 Killyclogher 1-11. The league continues next Sunday with a home fixture against Greencastle. Reserves 2.15pm Seniors 3.45pm.

Club Rossa The Club would like to thank all those who have contributed to Club Rossa in 2009. All Club Rossa Members should have received Issue 3 of the Club Rossa News Letter. If you have yet to receive this please contact Niall Muldoon or Neil Coney. Club Rossa membership for 2010 is now due. A committee member will be in touch with all members shortly to collect membership for 2010. If you wish to set up a direct debit to pay Club Rossa membership please obtain a form from Neil Coney or Gerry V Forbes. Any other outstanding membership must be paid asap to Christy Devlin.

Quiz There are 2 more weeks left of the quiz in the Parish Centre on Thursday nights. Quiz commences at 9pm. Everyone welcome.
The club extends its sympathy to the Quinn family on their recent bereavement.
