The club minor team played the Cavan champions Lavey-Castlerahan in the St Paul’s Ulster Minor Championship on Saturday 1st December and had to dig deep to come out on top winning 2-10 to 2-9. They have qualified for the semi final which is fixed for boxing day.

Gaelic start for Boys and Girls from P1 to P3 continues in St Patrick’s Primary School on Wednesday nights, 7 to 8 pm. Each child should bring their own water bottle and parents must be in attendance.
Indoor training continues in the football pavilion for all U13, U14 and any U16 players not currently involved with the minor squad on Monday nights @ 7pm, all players should bring their own water bottle.

Aerobics continue in the Parish Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm – 8pm.

The youth group meets in the Parish Centre on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, all children aged 12 up are welcome to attend.
The production – A WIDOWS PARADISE – continues on Saturday 8th December in the Parish Centre (followed by a disco). Tickets cost £10 and are available from usual outlets – Forbes Spar, McConvilles Shop, The Parish Centre, Costcutter and Kelly’s shop in Moortown or can be purchased from Noelle Wylie or Karla Coney. The first night was a great success and big demand is expected for tickets this week.
Want to lose weight or just get fit after Christmas?? Then come along and sign up to “SlimFit”. SlimFit is a 10 week programme that the club are running in January where you can come along to try and lose weight or just to keep fit. There will be a range of activities organised every week including aerobics, circuits, walking, dancing, indoor soccer and many more. The programme will be suitable for men and women of all fitness levels and age groups (16+). Cost is £10 per week – this includes weekly weigh-in (optional), choice of activities on a daily/nightly basis, diet and health information, and prizes for the men and women losing the most weight.
