The Senior side ran out comfortable winners over Eglish this afternoon in Coalisland, emerging 11 point winners over Eglish. A bright opening saw points from Kyle Coney, Gavin Wylie and Ciaran Campbell. However, two quick goals from Eglish saw them take the lead midway through the half. Despite the setback the Rossas continued to push forward and further points from John McConville and Tommy McGuigan saw Ardboe go in at half-time leading 0-10 to 2-02.
A strong start to the second half was just what the Rossas needed, and a Kyle Coney goal gave them breathing space from there on in. Ardboe continued to edge ahead with points from Frank McGuigan, and when Kyle Coney fisted his second to the net 10 minutes from the end the game was as good as over.
