This weeks notes……

With the new committee and officers elected at the A.G.M on Monday night we of course all hope for a successful year on and of the field. With our new facilities due to be open in the coming months we can look forward to home games back in Michael Coney Park after a long stint away.

Anyone wishing to be involved in managing Youth teams this year is requested to contact Paul Coney ASAP.  This includes anyone who managed teams last year but especially any new faces are more than welcome. 

It is important this year that all youth players be registered with the club, it costs £5 and children can be registered at any of the adult registration evenings of be contacting the Youth Officer.

This weeks lotto no’s were 2, 20, 21 and 24. There was no jackpot winner. Match 3 winners were: Sheila McElwee, Declan Canavan and Neil Coney. Next Weeks Jackpot: £2800. Could all current and new lotto sellers please have there returns in for 9.30pm on Friday evenings in the Parish Centre.

Membership is now been taken and forms are available at www.ardboegfc.com and clicking on the ‘downloads’ link of the site. Registration days will be upcoming for both adult and youth but we would like to remind anyone that it would be more helpful if you could have you’re form filled in prior to this. Fees for 2007 are: Adult/Full: £50 Student/Retired: £25 and youth £5.

Final preparations for our 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner on the 24th February are now well under away and it’s only a matter of weeks until the event. We would like to remind everyone that there are a few single seats still available and please contact anyone of the gala sub committee if interested. Accommodation is also very limited and anyone wish to book a room contact Neil Coney ASAP. More details will be available shortly.
