This Weeks Notes….

It was quite a busy weekend for Ardboe, firstly the seniors over came Monaghan champions Clontibert with Brian McGuigan making a return to competitive football in Ardboe colours in almost a year out in injury. A great evening also on Saturday was had by all in the Tullyglass as we celebrated 60 years since the foundation of Ardboe O’Donovan Rossa. Of course there are quite a number of people to thank firstly all those who attended and donated in any way. We pay our thanks to our guests, some who travelled long distances to be there. Gerry Donnelly, whose watchful eye made sure the evening, was enjoyable for all, Sean Harvey for his great auctioneer skills and those who purchased the auction items, Terry Dunlop who recorded the event which will be available on DVD shortly and of course to the Staff at the Tullyglass. Anyone who also had their photograph taken on the night are reminded that they too will be with the club shortly. Finally the evening could have not taken place if it were not for a few hard working, dedicated club members who put much time and effort in to making it such a great night. We pay our thanks to them and those who contributed and helped out in any way. Go raibh maith agaibh

This weeks lotto no’s were: 7, 9, 13 and 18. There was no jackpot winner. Match 3 winners: Brian Muldoon, Liam Ryan, Eddie Rocks, Anne Quinn, Anne Marie Hanna and Jolene and Patricia Hurl. Next weeks jackpot will be £3500. Do you have a few spare hours on Friday evenings?  If so why not come to the Parish centre to give a hand with the bingo or the club lotto. There are very few people helping out at the minute and we encourage any one to come along and help, even if it's just selling books. Any help would be greatly appreciated and the bingo is a parish event and the last of a few that survive today.
