The U14s made a brave attempt to bring the first ever Tyrone Feile title home to Ardboe on Saturday afternoon, falling to Omagh at the final hurdle
Greencastle was the venue on Saturday afternoon for the Tyrone Feile Semi-Finals and Finals.
The Semi-Final draw paired Ardboe with familiar opposition in the form of Donaghmore. However, a strong team performance saw the Young Rossa's run out strong winners on a 2-08 to 0-02 scoreline.
The Final pitted the lads against Omagh, and despite falling 0-04 to 0-02 behind at half-time, hopes were high of a strong second half performance. However, an early Omagh penalty ultimetly proved the difference between the teams. Final score: Omagh 1-05 Ardboe 0-03.
Despite falling at the final hurdle, the lads can be extremely proud of their achievements in reaching the final stage and we look forward to watching them for the remainder of the season.
