The lotto numbers for Friday 22nd February 2013 were 12, 18, 26, 31. There was no jackpot winner and match three winners included Ciara Forbes and Maureen Quinn, next weeks jackpot is £2300.

The club senior team continued its pre season preparations with a victory against Ballinderry on Saturday 23rd February on a score line of Ardboe 1-9 Ballinderry 0-9 in the Ulster Senior League. They have now qualified for the semi final.

Congratulations to the minor team and management who opened up their season by retaining the Ryan Tierney Memorial Tournament in Clogher last weekend. They kick off their league campaign with a home game against Coalisland on Saturday 2nd March.

The minor ladies kicked off their league campaign on Saturday 23rd February with a defeat against Glenelly on a score line of Ardboe 1-5 Glenelly 6-9. The girls next game is on Saturday 2nd March with a home game at 11am against Aodh Ruadh.

Parents and players are reminded it is now a requirement for all underage players, up to and including minor players, to wear mouthguards in both training and matches – there is more information available at http://www.gaa.ie/medical-and-player-welfare/mouthguards/.

Training for all boys eligible for U8 and U10 football is in the Parish Centre on Friday nights from 7-8pm.

Training for U14 boys continues on Sunday afternoons at 12pm and on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm.

Training has started for U12 & 14 girls on a Thursday night from 6.30-7.30pm upstairs in the pavilion. All girls should wear trainers and bring their own water. All girls aged 10+ can attend and new players are welcome. If anyone is interested in helping out with any of the ladies teams from u6 – u16 contact Lisa 07849812852.

The senior ladies are holding a fundraising night on Saturday 9th March in Forbes Bar. There will be a Family Fortunes game-show followed by a disco. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from any member of the ladies senior and minor teams.

SlimFit schedule of weekly activities can be viewed on the club website and accessed via the club facebook or twitter page. Anyone who is not a member of SlimFit but wants to attend some of the activities like jiving or circuits can do so at a cost of £3 per activity. Congratulations to mid-way winners Jordanna Cunningham and Danielle McLernon, the presentation night for SlimFit will be held on Saturday 23rd March in the parish centre.

Club membership is now due and can be paid to Gabriel Loughran. Membership fees for 2013 are £50 per adult, £10 per child or £25 per family of three or more children – all players must be fully paid up members otherwise insurance claims will not be processed. Club Rossa membership fee for 2013 is £150.
