The Reserves made the long trip to Aghyaran on Friday evening for the first round of the championship, and came away deserving winners on a 0-09 to 0-03 scoreline. In a typically tight affair, the Rossa's always managed to keep their noses infront throughout, and a fine penalty save from Kieran Quinn helped to secure the win.
