The club committee would like to thank everyone who helped to make our Centenary "Weekend of Sport" celebrations a huge success. Special thanks to all those who volunteered on Sunday throughout the day, helping to officate at the tournaments, organise the fun runs and help in the cooking of the food at the BBQ on Sunday evening.
On Sunday evening itself, the Minor football tournament proved to be a competitive affair with Ballinderry and Derrylaughan making it through to the final after victories over Moortown and Ardboe respectfully. In the final, Ballinderry emerged victorious after clawing back a half time deficit to win by 6 points. Thanks to Martin Coney for refereeing all games.
The U14 Camogie tournament also seen Ballinderry and Derrylaughan progress to the final from the group stages including Ardboe, Brocagh and Moortown A and B teams. Again, a high competitive and enjoyable game, saw Ballinderry emerge a winners.
The U16 Ladies tournament took place on Saturday and saw Aodh Ruadh, Ardboe A and B and Carrickmore competing, with Carrickmore capturing the overall prize.
